Summer is Finally here, and what better way to celebrate than going to one of the fantastic local events below!

1: The Massive Summer Boat Party!
Saturday 20th August 2011, 12:00 – 17:00.
Our top pic, although out of Thame, has to be a fantastic boat party organised by a lovely friend of ours, and Thame Town Councillor, Corin Rea.

On the 20th August 2011 we will be getting our glad rags on and heading into London for the “massive summer boat party”

The party starts at midday as the boat ‘sets sail’ from Temple Pier, Victoria Embankment. The trip takes you past all the fantastic London landmarks, which can be seen perfectly from the Thames. Guests can expect to have fantastic views as they sail past the Houses of Parliament, London Eye, HMS President, The Golden Hinde, and HMS Belfast. We will then sail majestically past City Hall, and the Tower of London before passing under Tower Bridge and heading past Canary Wharf and The O2 Arena. After winding through the docklands guests arrive at the Thames Barrier before heading back to Temple Pier. During the five hour boat party, guests will be treated to instant access to both onboard bars, a dance floor and sun-deck. Special guest DJs will be on hand to provide a summer soundtrack to your trip, ensuring this will be one massive boat party you won’t want to miss…
