Spring has finally sprung and we’re delighted to bring you a host of lovely activities for all the family! Happy Easter everyone!

Thame TV’s Top Three

1: A real treat for the kids at Blenheim Palace

Yes, it’s a little way from Thame, but how can you resist when your little ones can spend the day with The Three Little Pigs (the nice ones from the story, and not from The Guardian ad!!) Peppa Pig, George and The Piplings!

There is a whole host of family fun to be had at Blenheim Palace this Easter!

The Three Little Pigs Easter Hunt on 6th – 7th April is a fantastic Easter hunt for families, with clues that follow the story of the ‘Three Little Pigs’ as they set off to find their fortune, only to meet the big bad wolf! Follow the trail of clues about the ‘Three Little Pigs’ hidden around the Pleasure Gardens: will they be in the Marlborough Maze, the Butterfly House, or the ‘Blenheim Bygones’ Exhibition? If you complete the hunt on 6th – 7th April and you will receive an Easter treat.

But that’s not all! On the 8th and 9th April families can meet Peppa Pig and George at the Pleasure Gardens on Sunday, and The Piplings from CBeebies’ pre-school series, Waybuloo for some interactive “Yogo” sessions on Monday.

The characters will meet and greet children making personal appearances at various intervals throughout the day.  Families will have an opportunity to take photos of these much-loved characters at their special Easter visit to Blenheim Palace. All activity will take place at the Pleasure Gardens with additional family fun attractions, The Marlborough Maze, The Butterfly House and the Adventure Play Area. Food and refreshments and Easter treats will be available in the Pleasure Gardens Deli, making this a perfect Easter day out.

After the Easter hunters have explored the Pleasure Gardens including the Blenheim Bygones’ exhibition, families can catch the miniature train up to the Palace to see the beautiful Easter display on the grand saloon table, and meet the fascinating inhabitants of the Palace’s past in “Blenheim Palace: The Untold Story”.
