If you’ve suddenly noticed an unuaually high percentage of hairy men (and women, ahem) walking the streets of Thame, you may want to get yourself down to The Thatch tonight for a little clarity on this sudden “trend”

For this month’s event, The Thatch team have decided to team three of our favourie passtimes – eating fabulous food, drinking delicious rum and raising money for a good cause (All the while, pointing and laughing at your hairy neighbours) With this moral win-win in mind, they have put together some fantastic new wines from their list and invited Dougie and Danny from Ron Zacapa Rum to enlighten you on this amazing drink. You may have tasted a Rum or few before, in various (and dubious) places perhaps, but nothing like this!

Not only that, but the boys in The Thatch kitchen have equalled the task with a fantastic 4-course menu. Mmm.

If you ask about raising money for a good cause, this is where all the facial monstrosities become clear. Every November, the noble men of the UK grow their facial hair to raise money and awareness of Prostate Cancer. The thatch team have really got on board this year, and aim to raise over £500 for the cause, without you necessarily having to grow a “Mo”.

For just £25, you will receive a scrumptious four course dinner, Ron Zacapa tasting and the odd glass of wine or two. What more could you ask for? Call Frasier and his team on 01844 214 340 to reserve your place. The event is 7.30 for an 8pm start.
