With summer coming to an end, the relief to finally be able to layer, to cozy up at home and to stock up on stodgy food and big pants comes to all of us. But fear not! Help comes in the form of new fitness tech from PulseON.

PulseOn is a Finnish mobile wellness company founded in November 2012, as a spin off from mobile giant Nokia. The company was originally founded by five people, and has now grown to a team of 20 with world class expertise in reliable, optical heart rate monitoring.

The PulseOn device sits on the wrist and connects to your iPhone or android device via an app, and gives meaningful and personal training feedback, and an amazingly accurate and continuous heart rate measurement, with no need for chest straps.

We were asked to try it out, and with help from www.scissorpaperstone.tv we filmed a series of programmes in central London and Oxfordshire showing athletes using these devices. Here is the first of the series!
